A Century-Long Journey of Shandong Cuisine Tradition and Innovation.
Fumaozhai Brand Identity Design
Founded in the late Qing Dynasty in 1869, Fumaozhai Restaurant reopened its doors in 2001 within a traditional courtyard house on Qinglong Mountain in Boshan, preserving its time-honored practices of intimate seating arrangements, authentic ingredients, and fairness to all patrons. This century-old restaurant has navigated the tides of history to solidify its standing in a land rich with benevolence and righteousness. Fumaozhai is not just an old traditional eatery but also a standard-bearer of Shandong Boshan's Lu cuisine. Its philosophy centers on the authenticity of flavors, selecting the freshest seasonal ingredients while minimizing the use of seasonings to maintain traditional tastes.
RDA refined the Fumaozhai project into a clear brand identity design system for traditional Chinese dining and hospitality. The work connects strategy, visual identity and practical applications so the brand can build recognition, trust and stronger commercial conversion across digital, print and spatial touchpoints.
