Destination Branding Shaped by Landscape and Culture
Senseu Valley Destination Branding and Wayfinding
Senseu Valley is a landscape-led cultural destination set between hills, water and varied architecture. Its identity needed to respect the quiet character of the site while helping visitors understand and remember a place composed of different buildings, paths and natural elevations.
RDA drew from the surrounding landscape to create a restrained place-brand system spanning the core identity, destination communication and wayfinding. The design brings architecture and nature into one recognisable visitor experience without competing with the setting.

The different architectural shapes of each building and the different horizontal height differences produce an interesting but harmonious echo, with the buildings in the landscape, blending in with the nature of heaven and earth. The houses all face the beauty of the lake and the rolling hills.
The buildings are made of stone from the transformation of the mountain villages in the area, and are built with a great sense of art and beauty, and in each landscape, people are the only ones; people feel like they are really living in nature.
Senseu Valley was originally a small hill covered with plants, with winding paths and standing by a lake, while the Horse Mountain stands in the background, between the landscape and the mountains, with the poetic and pictorial mood that poets and painters once had, a spiritual realm that people feel in nature.
